Sheigh Crabtree
Vice President of Audience Development
Sheigh Crabtree is a journalist and editor, most recently with the Los Angeles Times where she served
as Director of News & Programming for Entertainment for latimes.com, in addition to overseeing
the premiere Oscar website TheEnvelope.com. While at the Los Angeles Times, Sheigh oversaw five of the top ten performing blogs,
launched and edited numerous event blogs and Web Features and penned the regular 'How'd They Do That?'
film technology column. In her time at latimes.com, she doubled site traffic month-over-month by devising
popular original content and through strategic use of SEO and SMO. Prior to LA Times, Sheigh was New
Media Editor at The Hollywood Reporter, where she oversaw the Risky Biz Blog with Anne Thompson,
penned the popular Cinema Technology column, and was awarded the Robert Wise Award for Outstanding
Journalism. Sheigh developed her understanding of digital production and new media tools in Northern
California where she served as a technical writer for Pixar Animation Studios and PDI/DreamWorks.
Prior to joining Perfect Market, Sheigh served as Deputy Commissioner on a social media Get Out the
Vote effort for the California for Obama campaign.
Sheigh graduated with honors and holds a BA in Religion and Biblical Literature from Smith College in Northampton, MA.
